tomato n rice soup - in a medium large sauce pan add.. 2 cans tomato sauce 1 can stewed tomatoes chopped up 1 can water 1/4 cup rice (1/2 cup may be better) 4 tbl sugar light dusting cayenne pepper possibly some coriander powder 1 tsp chili powder. Went from horse hooves to tomato soup. 2? maybe too much. - simmer 'till the rice is cooked. Add can of milk. Heat back to simmer. NOTES : When I say can I mean the standard 15oz can. Tried 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Mistake. Sweet pickle juice, not right either. Couple pinches of rosemary ground between fingers overwhelmed the flavor. Sage seems good, but by now its turning to flavor-brown. ---------------- Try #2 used 1/2 cup rice - how about 1/3 cup? 1 1/2 tsp chili powder - good no pickle juice no garlic couple shakes of sage couple shakes coriander. Very well received. They ate it all.
