Making rice! Start with Dutch oven. Drizzle olive oil all over bottom it. Add to this.. 1 tsp curry paste. 1 tsp butter: 1 tsp crushed garlic. Couple good shakes of salt. Get all this hot. Stirring a lot over high heat. Dump in 2 cups rice. Fry the rice and stuff together for a bit. Add two full schooners if cold water (4 cups) - Bring to boil. Lower heat to low, pop on the lid and cook for 15 minutes. TIMED Once the 15 minutes are up, turn off heat. Do not open for at least another 15 minutes. (Important step) Rice will be nicely fluffy.
