KFC Chicken Dry dredge 4 cups flour 5 tsp salt 2 tbl 99-x spice Egg wash 1 cup milk 8 eggs Pinch of salt. Whip it up. Frying BIG pieces. Chop breasts in two. 350 Deg. for around 18 minutes. Double check with meat thermometer when done, for minimum 165 deg. This time with big pieces I could only fit two at a time in the fryer. Drain on a wire rack or strainer over plate as I did. Napkins will steam them soggy. Came out really bland. Once salted, they were ok. But not worth eating MSG. I THINK I FOUND MY ERROR The recipe called for fine grained (table) salt. I used Kosher salt. Therefor I only added maybe 1/2 the salt it called for.
