Double check with meat thermometer when done, for minimum 165 deg. This time with big pieces I could only fit two at a time in the fryer. Drain on a wire rack or strainer over plate as I did. Napkins will steam them soggy. Came out really bland. Once salted, they were ok. But not worth eating MSG. I THINK I FOUND MY ERROR The recipe called for fine grained (table) salt. I used Kosher salt. Therefor I only added maybe 1/2 the salt it called for.
